Learn by reading

Learn a language the way you read a novel.

Stories that begin in English and drift, sentence by sentence, into a language you don't yet speak. You don't study the words. You follow the plot — and the plot teaches you.

The train slows. Through rain-streaked glass, a city assembles itself. A sign slides past the window: "Maastricht."

The conductor calls out: "Eindstation." Uitgang this way, an arrow points. The doors hiss open.

A stranger on the platform catches your eye. You need to find the way out.

How it works

Three movements
I.

The story shifts beneath you

Each tale opens in plain English. As you read on, more of the new language seeps in — a word, then a phrase, then a whole line of dialogue — until you're reading fluently without noticing the moment it happened.

II.

Every choice is a comprehension check

The plot forks. To choose well, you have to understand what was just said. Pick the right path and the story rewards you; misread it and you'll wander — but the margin always tells you what you missed.

III.

Words you meet, you keep

Tap any word for its meaning. The ones you meet are saved, each alongside the sentence you first read it in — yours to revisit whenever you like. No queue, no streaks.
