Terms of use
Last updated · 29 May 2026
These terms govern your use of the Fluent by Choice app and this website, both made by Seneris B.V. in Maastricht. By using them, you agree to what follows.
Your licence
We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Fluent by Choice for your own language learning. The stories, software, audio, and design are ours (or our contributors') and are protected by copyright. Please don't copy, resell, or redistribute them.
Buying stories
The first story is free to begin. Additional stories may be offered as one-time purchases or as part of a subscription, bought through the Apple App Store. Apple handles billing, renewals, and refunds under its own terms. We don't see or store your payment details.
Acceptable use
Use the app lawfully and don't try to break it: no reverse engineering, scraping, automated extraction of the story content, or attempts to circumvent purchase controls.
The learning itself
Fluent by Choice is a tool, not a tutor or a certification. We've worked hard on the translations and pedagogy, but we can't guarantee fluency, accuracy in every edge case, or any particular result. Use your judgement.
Availability
We aim to keep things running, but we may update, change, or discontinue features over time. We're not liable for downtime or for data you lose by deleting the app without syncing.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the app and site are provided “as is.” Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Dutch law, including for death, personal injury, or intentional misconduct.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands, and any disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the competent court in Limburg, unless mandatory consumer law gives you other rights.
